Little Alchemy

Little Alchemy is a fun and educational game where you mix basic elements like air, earth, fire, and water to craft new and increasingly complex items. You can play Little Alchemy Classic for free in your web browser! If you want to play the sequel, that’s Little Alchemy 2. We loved playing this together with the two boys (7 and 10) in our family. Each time someone found a new item, we would show each other. They enjoyed the fun. But as parents, we appreciated how educational it was. Not only teaching them about new elements, but getting them to think outside the box to work out how to create new combinations. Review by FamilyGamingDatabase. How to Play Start with the basics There are four starting elements. These are fire, water, Earth, and air. The game encourages exploration and experimentation, as each new combination unlocks unique items, contributing to a growing collection of elements to explore. It's an engaging way for players of all ages to learn about various combinations and their outcomes in a virtual environment. Mix the elements You can access the available elements in the sidebar. Each new item you produce will appear there! The canvas can get a little messy as you test out more elements, so there is a cleanup button you can use in the bottom right to wipe the slate clean. Alchemy combinations Recloak is constantly updating Little Alchemy Classic with new items to craft. There are currently 560 items to discover in this original game. Some combinations will be more evident than others, and there are often more ways than one to create a new item. Some combinations rely on logic while others require more creative, out-of-the-box thinking. Here are some basic creations so you understand how Little Alchemy works: Fire + Earth = lava Earth + air = dust Steam + air = cloud Earth + lava = volcano Fire + stone = metal These are all logical combinations. However, some don't seem as obvious, like water + horse creating a hippo. Sometimes you have to think outside the box and mix elements you wouldn't expect to create anything just to see what happens. Tips If you reach a point where you can no longer find combinations, there are extensive guides online that can help, like on the Fandom page. Bubble Shooter

Bubble Shooter

Bubble Shooter is a popular casual game that combines simple mechanics with an addictive rewards system. Based on the arcade classic Puzzle Bobble (1994), Bubble Shooter challenges players to aim and shoot a bubble cannon to clear as many colorful bubbles off the screen as possible. Don’t be fooled, this is a relaxing game, but it can also quickly become a challenge when you realize the further you progress, the more you will need to combine strategy and timing. The real challenge is putting this game down once you start! How to Play Bubble ShooterYou may have already come across Bubble Shooter, as it is potentially one of the most popular casual games out there. Don’t believe us? Look over your shoulder next time you’re on public transport. The Bubble Shooter game uses simple match-3 mechanics. The screen begins filled with colorful bubbles, and at the bottom, you control a shooter loaded with a single colored bubble. Your goal is to aim and fire it at bubbles of the same color, forming a cluster of three or more. When matched, the bubbles burst and disappear, freeing up space on the board. The round is won when all bubbles are cleared. Be careful, as the growing cluster will fall too far and hit the bottom of the screen if it falls too far, resulting in a loss of the round.Always look for “hanging” bubbles. These are bubbles that support other clusters of bubbles below them. Pop that one, and they all fall, rewarding you with even more points. Speaking of PointsYour primary goal is to clear the board, but to get there, you will have to pop as many bubbles as possible before the ceiling of bubbles falls in on you. Every bubble you pop earns you points, but not all pops earn the same number of points. The more complex your bubble shoots are, the more points you earn. For instance, shooting one bubble will earn you fewer points than shooting one that supports a series of other bubbles.Using fewer shots or clearing levels quickly often earns you more points, but also keep in mind that wasted shots will count against you. So if you throw a bubble randomly against another color, you’re more likely to trigger a ceiling fall, which will bring you closer to the end of the round, giving you little space. After five misses, a new row drops from the ceiling. You can see the balls in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.Be Warned, Bubble Shooter Is Addictive There are plenty of reasons Bubble Shooter is so popular. It has no storyline, it’s pretty easy to learn to play, and its reward system keeps you challenging yourself in your last best game.Bubble Shooter TipsBe careful not to bundle too many different bubble colors together. The more bubble colors, the harder it is to make matches.Avoid ceiling falls. Faster descending ceilings increase time pressure.Shoot in the crevices. Some complex layouts may seem impossible, but clever bank shots are very possible, and you get to fill in the gaps and break apart complex clusters.Aim at the walls to get a better angle. The ball will ricochet off the wall and into the smallest of gaps.Plan ahead. You can see the next color you will be given. Let that guide your moves. The Original Bubble ShooterThere are numerous versions of Bubble Shooter, most of which trace back to Puzzle Bobble, created by Taito in 1994, a spinoff of Bubble Bobble (1986). Puzzle Bobble’s two-player arcade dynamics instantly brought it to the top of the game charts and made it a universal frenzy in the mid-'90s.In 2002, Absolutist Ltd., a Ukrainian studio, released Bubble Shooter for PC, creating a single-player Flash game experience. In 2015, Ilyon Dynamics Ltd., an Israeli studio, bought the rights and launched Bubble Shooter for mobile. It rapidly expanded with thousands of puzzle levels, missions, and even tournaments. Spend just 10 minutes a day matching vibrant 3D tiles and finding new fruit designs while mastering strategic match flips. With its unique puzzlescapes, escalating challenges, and a serene zen-inspired color palette, this game offers a perfect blend of brain training and tranquility, making it your ideal daily escape. How to Play Tile Guru Tile Guru is one of those addictive games that you find yourself playing for hours, day after day. The aim of the game is fairly simple - you need to match sets of three tiles of the same suit. You'll start with a colorful array of fruit-themed tiles—grapes, watermelon, apples, cherries, and more. Click on each tile, and it will fall into the tile holder section. Once you get three matching tiles in the tile holder, they will disappear to make room for more. Early levels keep things simple, as all tiles are the same, making it easy to match a set of three. As the levels continue, the challenges get harder. Your tile holder is where the magic happens, and it is the part that requires the most strategy. The tile holder holds up to 7 tiles—if the holder fills up with unmatched tiles, the game is over! You will need to make sure you get as many similar tiles as possible, so be careful what you click on. As you progress, the challenge ramps up. Tiles become layered, so you’ll need to think strategically about which ones to free up first. If you grab too many unmatched tiles, you might run out of space before completing your sets. Plan ahead, keep an eye on your available space, and aim for those perfect matches to clear the board! More Games Like This Continue the fun with even more casual games. Piles of Mahjong

Piles of Mahjong is an engaging and relaxing puzzle game that combines the classic elements of Mahjong with a match-three twist. As you progress through the levels, you’ll need to clear stacks of tiles by matching three identical ones, but be careful—strategic thinking is essential to avoid getting stuck! How to Play Piles of Mahjong Piles of Mahjong brings a fresh twist to the classic Mahjong formula with some exciting new dynamics. The game has most of the same foundational rules as a classic game of table mahjong, but instead of simply matching two tiles, your goal is to match three tiles from a pile featuring a mix of familiar patterns like circles and sticks, alongside fun new additions like bird and panda heads. To make a match, you must select tiles by clicking on them, and they’ll move to one of the seven empty spaces at the bottom of the screen. But be careful! If you fill all seven spaces without making any triple matches, it’s game over. Strategic thinking is essential to clear the pile and avoid running out of space. The game offers helpful features to assist you when you’re stuck, but they come with a price. You can reshuffle the tiles with 300 reward points or by watching an ad, flip all the tiles face up for the same cost, or even auto-match tiles in the bottom row with 100 reward points or an ad. To add to the challenge, you start with two chances to remove a tile from the bottom area. Once those chances are used up, you will need to spend 100 reward points or watch an ad to earn another set of removals. These are useful if you are close to filling up your bottom spaces or if you find some tiles to pair with no space to move them to. With its engaging twists and strategic layers, Piles of Mahjong tests your puzzle-solving skills while adding a bit of pressure to every move you make!
